Maire:
Maire is a sixteen year old college student who is studying Media, History and Psychology. She has lived with her Aunt and Sister since her parents died in a car accident when she was 10 years old. Since her parents death, Marie has developed an obsession with the existence of an afterlife and finding ways to contact her beloved parents. This obsession has lead to her owning Demonology books and an Ouija board. It also lead her to convince her friends to break into a supposedly haunted house to try and contact the dead as part of her Media project. She is the stereotypical female character in horror films: easily scared and relatively weak.
The Dark Shadow:
The Dark Shadow is an entity that developed an attachment to Marie after she stole a personal box from the entity’s previous house. The entity is the ghost of one of the many victims of the brutal murderers of the dead neighbour from next door to Marie. The Entity has very strong powers enabling it to apparate whenever it wants and manipulate and use objects in the human world.
