Two weeks ago I published a questionnaire on different fonts and colours for horror film opening credits on my facebook page. I received 7 responses for this questionnaire which has given us an interesting outlook on the types of credits people expect to see when watching a horror film.

From this we can see that the participants favourite fonts were My Imaginary Friend and Crucifixion. Audiences also expect to see the opening credits in a red font which matches the original idea that Amy and I have for our brief. Finally, we learnt that most people expect to see the credits after the opening sequence. However, as part of our brief we have to have our credits in our opening sequence, so whilst we have taken this feedback on board we are not going to be able to adapt our brief to fit this idea.
From the responses that both of our questionnaires got, Amy and I will combine our answers and attempt to come up with a final design for our credits, which we will post on our blogs in the next few days.
